Psarianos Iacovos
Lecturer in «Economic Growth». He studied Economics at the University of Piraeus (diploma). He worked as Research Assistant at the Center for Planning and Economic Research. He earned a graduate degree (M.A.) from the Economics University of Athens and a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He was scholar of the State Foundation of Scholarships, the Bodosakis Scholarships Foundation, the Economics University of Athens, and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. During his doctoral studies he was awarded the Robert Demarest Memorial Award (Teaching), and the Hans Brems Research Award (Research). He worked as Lecturer at Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis, as Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and as Π.Δ. (407/80) at the Department of Economic Sciences of the University of Thessaly, where he is currently working as Lecturer. His research interests include Economic Growth Theory, Dynamic Economics, and Macroeconomic Theory and Policy.
